Dial H for Hero trailer description. by The Real Booster GoldOct 07, 2009 10:31pm (CST)
With superhero films and kids films killing at the box office I though Hollywood should combine the two with "Dial H for Hero" a comic from the 60's.

The trailer opens with an SUV driving past a sighn that reads "Welcome to Littleville Colorado". The young protagonist Robert "Robby" Reed hits head head against the window and mutters "Great!". Cut to Littleville Highschool Robbie meets his class including cute girl Suzie and school bully Daffy Dagan. Scenes of school and Daffy chasing Robby into a cave flash by with Robbie becoming trapped in the cave by a minor cave-in. Robby is drawn to a hollow space where he finds a chest half buried in the wall. Inside is a strange object, round with illuminated buttons with unknown script. As Robby holds it he is jolted and the symbols change to english letters. As if he knows what to do he pushes H.E.R.O and is transformed into a heavily muscled hero. One punch sends the rocks flying. Scenes fly by as Robbie uses the Dial to stop crimes around Littleville. An unscrupulous reporter discovers that Robbie is behind the heroism and steals the Dial for his own ends. Robbie and the reporter battle for the dial and in the end Robbie wins it back and the power fries the reporters brains making him a vegetable.

As the trailer ends Robbie stops a rampaging robot and a guy wearing a blue costume with a red cape thanks him for the assist.

Recoding Hyrule.net Game Pages by TappyAug 01, 2009 6:32pm (CST)
If a staff member is going to edit something in the game pages they are going to need a dungeon map and a compass, because the coding that I have done is a complete mess!

If you look at the source code of one of the pages you will see a lot of s. This is what I'm mainly trying to kill. Tables make the code expansively long and and messy, I'm trying to go from
Tables -> Div

Currently the console release dates section coding is a bit messy. I would like it if staff could go and edit it without going "WTF?" and running away from it.

Update 1:
I've been able to successfully get the pages somewhat neater for staff to edit, well some of the pages.

How lucky can one be? by Young Link AddictJul 24, 2009 2:18pm (CST)

A couple of days ago, without me knowing they got a floppy disk to bring  Power Point from my computer to their computer. So I can use the floppy disk to move my fanfic from one computer to the next and it'll be up Monday. If it works that is.

Zelda Dark Return News #3 by Young Link AddictJul 14, 2009 8:34pm (CST)

Well I finished part one. Now I still have to retype it on this computer. However, you must keep in mind that this is the first part of 3. So there will not be a lot of action. There will be talking and quests for Link to get a sword and a shield. That's about it. The series will, however, get better as time progresses.

A bit of info on "Daybreak" by The Real Booster GoldJun 24, 2009 7:56pm (CST)
In Daybreak, my new story college student Trevor Lee is reliving the worst day of his life over and over again. It ends the same way, he is found dazed standing over his girlfriends body covered in her blood holding the knife that killed her. As the story progresses his day will change until he discovers the cause of her death, and the repeating day.

I want so much to destroy PETA! by The Real Booster GoldJun 19, 2009 9:53pm (CST)
I hate PETA, I hate them with a firey passion that burns me to the core. Every time something happens concerning an animal their collective panties bunch more that a strand of Christmas tree lights. They are now attacking the President because he swatted and killed a fly! Oh no not a precious fly, he's an inhuman monster! That's what's called sarcasm by the way. Let me just say that what the Prez did was cool, he swatted and killed a fly in midair, MIDAIR. He is one skilled grasshopper (Kung Fu refrence, RIP David)! They said that "He should've used another means of dealing with the fly." Like what, what could he possibly done? "Excuse me brother fly, being that we are all children of the same Earth Mother I respectively ask you to vacate the premises seeing that I am giving a television interview." Now if the fly had the intellect and ability to think his response would be. "I fly around dead things and lay my eggs in them, so make me!"

Sometimes you just have to smack some flies, It's therapeutic. "Hello little fly, I think I'll call you Rush." SPLAT!!!!

Legend of Zelda Dark Return news #2. by Young Link AddictJun 18, 2009 7:53pm (CST)

Well I tried looking for the USB plug some more on my old computer. There really is no USB cord so  LoZ: DR has been delayed until I either 1. Retype the whole thing on this computer, or 2. I wait until I get my new computer to type it on that.

I may just end up typing it all on this computer and thinking of more ideas for there.

The long awaited "Frankenstein Rant" by The Real Booster GoldJun 05, 2009 10:19pm (CST)
A young author named Mary Shelly wrote a novel called "The Modern Promethius" also known as "Frankenstein". In it she detailed the experiments of a mad scientist as he went around digging up bodies to harvest parts for his creation. Using lightning the monster was brought to life. Sounds familiar right, it should it's been adapted numerous times on TV, Movies even video games and Comic Books. what is the creatures name?

If you even think of blurting Frankenstein move away from the computer, cause here comes my fist. The MAN was Frankenstein, the creature was simply "The Monster". It wasn't until Universal's Frankenstein with Boris Karloff that they started calling the stitched, green skin, bolt neck guy Frankenstein.

So next time someone says. "Hey it Frankenstein!" and they point to that green corpse guy tell them how wrong they are.
